The aims
1

Encourage students to normalise good hygiene practice using sports stars as role models

2

Support behaviour changes by empowering young people through education

3

Provide a range of resources for use around school to promote safe learning environments for all pupils.

4

Reduce the number of days lost to preventable illness to zero, so students can continue to learn.

The impact

3m

Launched by Sir Ben Ainslie on Sky Breakfast and to >3M on social media

2,500

2,500 disadvantaged young people (11-13) took part

75 %+

75%+ young people reported improvement in confidence, resilience communication and decision-making.

“We have used the excellent ZERO Days video in every assembly for all our pupils.

The use of sporting heroes such as Lewis Hamilton, has really motivated students to take notice and pay attention to what they are being asked to do with new hygiene rules.

Reassuring our students that school is safe.”

Headteacher, Elaine Heaphy
